Autumn finally feels like it’s in full swing this week, clad in cosy jumpers and buckets of steaming coffee, the absolute best time of the year.

It’s difficult to ignore the looming threat of Winter, as energy bills continue to soar and many of Manchester’s favoured restaurants announce closures, but there’s plenty to do this week, and if you can get out and support your favourite local businesses now is the time.

El Capo reopens its doors once again on a Monday this week, and tonight the Mexican eatery is offering 50% OFF its entire food menu and £1 tacos to celebrate, so if you’re looking for plans for this evening, you know where to go!

There’s also a couple of brilliant exhibition launches this week across the city, as well as gigs from local legends and ferocious stage presences that will take over some of Manchester’s most-loved music institutions including Night & Day Cafe and the famed The White Hotel.

But if the most you can do is just grab a simple pint in your local this week, every little helps and, right now, will be appreciated more than ever.
