As we approach the most magical time of year the team behind Escape to Freight Island will be using the newly launched and magnificent Ticket Hall for a planned two months of much needed merriment alongside the incredible Winter Island line-up which has been extended into January 2021, as it launches ESCAPE FROM 2020.

It is safe to say that for most people the end of 2020 will be welcome, and with the beginnings of light and hope being seen at the end of a very long and dark tunnel, this Christmas will be a time to look forward and to celebrate the bright prospect of 2021.

The huge outdoor space will transform into Winter Island and alongside the Ticket Hall will open on December 3rd, and to make sure everyone is able to experience this special time, Escape to Freight Island will now be open seven days a week during December and Winter Island will now run to the end of January.

The launch of the Ticket Hall at Escape to Freight Island was received to rapturous reviews for a brief time in November, prior to the national lockdown.

This snapshot of the Ticket Hall gave us a glimpse of what the original concept for Freight Island was imagined to be – a grand multi-purpose indoor and outdoor market and entertainment space within a truly unique venue in one of the world’s most forward-thinking cities.

Dan Morris, Managing Director said: “We opened The Ticket Hall for just five days before we had to close for the national lockdown. This meant disappointing thousands of people booked in during November.

“To make sure we could rebook everyone back into the Ticket Hall and Winter Island, which is located in our outdoor space next to the new Ticket Hall, we have opened up reservations for seven days a week throughout December in both areas and extended Winter Island into January, which means another month of cosy vibes, hog roast, delicious sausages and mulled wine seeing us into 2021.”

The entertainment schedule has also been re-scheduled allowing for the cancelled shows in November to move into December, visit below for the latest line up and for further announcements for festive events and New Year’s celebrations…
