The FIRST EVER tasting menu held at the Marble Arch is coming this Tuesday 1st October.
The Marble Arch pub down on Rochdale Road is well-known for many things. There’s the stunning tiled interior (complete with sloping mosaic floor), the outstanding selection of craft beers and of course the hidden beer garden round the back.
But what you may not know about this award-winning pub is that they also serve up some of the city’s best pub grub, offering a range of classic dishes with a seasonal twist.
From Sunday Roasts to Cheese Boards they offer everything you could ever want, and now they’ve decided to try their hand at something a little more difficult – a Tasting Menu.
Their first foray into this area is with an exciting 5-COURSE PAIRED CIDER NIGHT in association with Little Pomona & Ross on Wye Cider.
A menu produced by the executive chef, Kerry Rickett promises to take your senses and taste buds through an evening of enjoyment and exploration.
Each dish is paired with a cider picked by the experts down at Little Pomona & Ross on Wye who will also be on hand at the event to talk guests through each dish.
It sounds a little unusual, doesn’t it? A cider paired dinner. But when you think about it, there are probably just as many different varieties of apples just as there are grapes. And there’s plenty of different styles, dry bubbly, strong, sweet, oak-aged to choose from too.
The cider for the event, courtesy of Little Pomona is full of hand-selected and hand-picked apples all from their very first harvest back in 2015.
The 5 course menu includes;
The perfect opportunity to ease your way into Autumn with apples, cheese and everything that is just damn cosy.
