The Pen & Pencil in the Northern Quarter not only has a delicious brand spanking new menu but there’s also a killer offer which means you get to try the new dishes AND a drink for just £10.
The menu is split into two nice and easy categories, brunch served from 10am and lunch served from 12pm, both of which are available until 4pm.
So depending on how you’re feeling – they’ll definitely be the perfect dish for you.
Whether you’re on a diet and wanting something like Avocado & Feta on grilled sourdough, or wanna go full winter hibernation and order the Deep Fried Cheese & Prosciutto sandwich – they’ve got you covered.
There’s also the heartwarming Homemade Meatballs that are perfect for shovelling into your mouth on these cold wintery days. Served with toasted sourdough and melty melty cheddar cheese, mmmmm.
Also on the Brunch menu is the brand new Baked French Toast Casserole which is just about as delicious as it sounds.
Winterberries mixed with brioche and cinnamon, baked until nice and crisp on the outside and fluffy in the middle served with a good dollop of mascarpone.
On the Lunch menu, you’ll find Winter Squash Ratatouille served with a rich tomato and basil sauce and the Old Bay Shrimp Wrap served with fresh avocado, black beans, garlic, lime, mayonnaise, iceberg, olives and paprika.
Plus if you’re after some cheese action there’s the Jefferson Mac & Cheese Lava Cake Salad.
Cut through the crispy deep-fried breadcrumb outer and oozy molten mac & cheese falls out that is just as creamy and naughty as it sounds.
