The Glass Onion pop-up vintage market is back in town

Manchester already has a plethora of brilliant, permanent vintage stores to satisfy shoppers, but it’s always exciting for thrifters when another comes to town.

Glass Onion, the largest vintage retailer in the UK, will bring its abundance of vintage clothing and accessories for a pop-up at Manchester’s New Century on Sunday 3 December.

Since starting out in 2004, Glass Onion has been sourcing and selling vintage gems on market stalls and festival pop-ups, processing up to 20,000kg of second hand clothing every single week.

GO even has its own in-house remade factory, where they recycle and transform damaged and unwanted clothing into something wardrobe-worthy, saving items destined for landfill.

Glass Onion are now renowned for their pop-ups, which occur all over the country and attract hundreds of vintage hunters at every event. Expect over 65 rails of a completely unique and diverse clothing, including statement pieces as well as everyday wardrobe staples.

There’s also a premium vintage boutique with exclusive pieces curated especially by GO’s product team.

You can grab a Christmas party outfit or just breathe new life into your wardrobe with up-cycled skirts, dresses, knitwear, outwear and accessories. You’ll also be able to find Y2K pieces, American and European vintage, rare brands and designers including Tommy Hilfiger, Adidas, Burberry, Diesel, North Face.

There will also be 50 deals rails to browse, with items at £10, £15 and £20 – buy two of the same price and save £5.

Early access tickets are £5 for those who want to get down first, tickets are then just £1 for the first hour and free for the last.
