Breakout has today announced that all the proceeds from the games you play on Wednesday 13th March will be given to a selection of local charities.

This event is working with When You Wish Upon a Star which makes dreams come true for children with a terminal illness like riding ponies for the first time and meeting their heroes.

Manchester Pride is a much-loved charity here in Manchester, but aside from putting on one of the best weekends of the year, they also strive equality, challenge discrimination and create an opportunity for engagement and participation for the LGBT+ community.

Early Break is a charity that focuses on young people and providing them with emotional support in the form of counselling with a one-to-one worker. They specialise in holistic therapy, mindfulness, bereavement and loss counselling, anti-bullying and emotional wellbeing support.

Breakout is also donating some of the proceeds to The Christie Hospital which is a cancer hospital based in south Manchester which is one of the most highly regarded in the entire country.

Manchester City Mission is the final charity involved with this fundraiser. This Christian charity is multifaceted with projects and includes everything from visiting older people in their homes to combat loneliness, printing positive newspapers and providing communities with prayer groups.

All the proceeds from the day will be split evenly between these five charities, so make sure you get yourselves down for a game for a good cause on Wednesday 13th March.
