Following the Government’s announcement of Tier 3 restrictions for Greater Manchester, Lightopia will open its award-winning and visually spectacular lantern and light festival as planned, from Thursday 3rd December until Sunday 10th January.

Taking place outdoors at Heaton Park, Lightopia will operate under the Rule of Six;  meaning that customers can attend in groups of up to six but no more.

Lightopia showcases unique interactive and immersive lights and lanterns with new installations and a brand-new route for guests to explore.

The new route has been designed to create a safe environment, where visitors are able to see the sights safely with friends and family; there will be wider footpaths to maintain social distancing, a one-way system, three entry points to reduce queuing and direct access to two car parks.

You can also WIN some special prizes this Black Friday with Lightopia’s ‘Wheel of Light’. Just click the button below and you can be in with a chance of winning 25% OFF tickets, a VIP tour for two and loads more…

The event is open every day, except Christmas Day. Opening times are between 5pm to 10pm, and last entry is 8.30pm daily.
