Launching the initiative on his Twitter feed, the German national star explained how he loves spending time in all the varied restaurants and cafes across the city, and therefore wants to help as best he can.
The charity campaign will run until the end of the current Premier League season and will allow fans to bid for a variety of prizes, including a personal Meet & Greet with him, signed match worn shirts and loads more.

The proceeds of the auctions will all be donated to the restaurants and cafes in Manchester, Ilkay’s “second home”.
