Inspired by the Indian summer, Zouk is launching new dishes for autumn including new Chicken Kebabs, Prawn and special new main dishes.

First up is the Star Anise Chicken Kebab (£5.95). This starter, from Darjeeling, is the perfect dish to try if you don’t normally stray from a chicken tikka.

Succulent and chunky chargrilled chicken pieces marinated in a mix of spices, cashew nuts and ground star anise.

There’s also a new Mustard King Prawns (£8.95) starter from Calcutta, Bengal. Blended with mustard sees, yoghurt and fresh chillis expect flavour and spice.

New on the main menu is a Chicken & Fenugreek Curry (£10.95). With origins in Katsur (known for the best fenugreek in the world), this chicken curry has plenty of zing and packs a flavoursome punch.

Fenugreek is a unique spice that can be used in multiple ways. By placed dried leaves on the dish, the flavours and aroma are all enhanced by the slightly fresh herby taste.

The final new dish to choose from is the Lamb Passandra (£11.95). Using the finest lamb fillet, pounded and cooked into a thick and luxurious tomato masala. The sauce is thick, creamy and has plenty of ginger and spices throughout.

If you wanted to make it that little bit sweeter Zouk are offering free deserts to diners on Thursday and Sundays throughout September.

Owner, Tayub Amjad said: “This offer is for everybody who dines with us on a Thursday or Sunday. IF you order a main course, then your dessert is on us. We really just want to thank customers for their continued support and it’s a great excuse to indulge in a dessert or two.”

Up for grabs is a delicious Rose and Pistachio Cake with layers of pistachio sponge, rose frosting and lemon-flavoured filling between the layers.

There’s also plenty of traditional Asian desserts such as Baklava, Gulab Jamun and Rasmalai.

Zouk’s famous Asian-Fusion dessert menu includes the likes of Mumbai Mess, a deconstructed cheesecake and Desi Doughnuts, dusted with cinnamon and served with raspberry and chocolate dipping sauce.
