The new single by Shanique Marie, Give Thanks, is taken from 100 Dances and is the first long-player produced entirely by Samrai & Platt.

It sees the culmination of over a decade of running parties and producing tracks under the Swing Ting moniker.

100 Dances featured a range of collaborators and some new faces across its ten tracks. The project has been supported across a range of media outlets, including plays on Radio 1, BBC Introducing, Unity & Zip FM and loads more.

The video for Give Thanks has been shot during the Covid-19 lockdown and sees friends, family and peers giving thanks for the small things they’ve appreciated during this challenging period.

Guests include Toddla T, Naomi Cowan, Tash LC, Lil C, Fox, Part 2 Style, Benjamin D, Emily Dust, DJ Mo City covering locations from Japan, Ghana, Germany, India, Jamaica, St Lucia, Canada, Mexico, USA, Wales, Ireland & the UK.

The video was released Thursday, May 14 and there are extended mixes expected to be released on Bandcamp.
