The speciality coffee house and cocktail bar in Ancoats will be the first of its kind in the area. Using locally-based roasters, Grindsmith and using Marzocco MODBAR Espresso Machines to create flavourful coffees.

Coffees will start at £2.50 for an Espresso or Americano and go up to £3.50 for the likes of a Matcha Latte or Beetroot Latte.

Milk alternatives will, of course, be available and we can do a little cheer that they will be free of charge!

For grub, expect a range of classic breakfast and brunch dishes like Avo Smash with chilli, feta, egg and sourdough and Smoked Salmon with cream cheese, capers and poppy seed bagel.

There will also be Huevos Rancheros as well as Buckwheat Granola and Brioche French Toast. Brunch dishes are reasonably priced, ranging from £6 to £8.

For lunch, the menu boasts a good range of alternatives to your usual sandwich and crisps, including Chorizo Hash, Wild Mushroom Toast, Buttermilk Fried Chicken (you can add fries!), Halloumi and Portobello Burger, Ancient Grains Buddha Bowl.

Brunch will be served bright and early from 8am until 4pm while the lunch menu is available between 12pm and 4pm.

Mule will also have a range of bar snacks available – which will be perfect with one of their new cocktails – including Nocellara Olives, Palestinian Hummus and Flatbread, Burrata and Smashed Avo with Nachos.

The new coffee house and bar will be open from 8am everyday until midnight Sunday to Thursday and until 1am on Fridays and Saturdays.

Mule is opening soon but for now, we can just get an idea of the vibe from their website and socials. It looks as though we can expect plenty of trendy rattan furniture, washed-out neutrals and ‘rainforest marble’.
