Have you ever googled, ‘Nicolas Cage Virgin Mary’? Go on, do it. This article will still be here when you get back.

Nick Cage, a top contender of the ‘most meme-able celebrity’ title, has a double bill screening of two of his greatest modern movies at Manchester’s favourite rooftop. Brickhouse Social is bringing the Rooftop Cinema Club for 2020, proudly presenting ‘Mandy’ & ‘Color Out Of Space.’

To celebrate your Cage-rage, or just for general cinema-lovers, enjoy 2 movies by candlelight with like-minded individuals. Both movies will be introduced, discussed, debated and rated (with a side helping of free popcorn).

‘Mandy’ follows the lives of a couple in a secluded forest, brutally shattered by a nightmarish hippie cult and their demon-biker henchmen – propelling a man into a spiralling, surreal rampage of vengeance.

‘Color Out Of Space’ depicts a secluded farm, struck by a strange meteorite which has apocalyptic consequences for the family living there and, possibly, the world.

The tickets, alongside the free popcorn, include movie posters of both films for you to take away – and did I mention they’re only £5?
