Created in 2015, the speakeasy barbers that is hidden 18 feet underground was designed to be ‘anti-barber’. No more cramped spaces or uncomfortable conversations. Instead, a safe space where people are heard.
Barber Below is a Northern Quarter barber that welcomes everyone regardless of gender, race or sexual preference.
This year, they’re taking the inclusion agenda one massive step further.
Offering up a ‘Pay What U Can’ service to welcome all budgets. There are no rules, only that you pay what you can at the end of the service. Whether that is as little as 1p or as much as the full price of the haircut.
The guys also accept plants, baked goods and artwork as forms of payment – the more creative the better!
