Mercury Prize winner, BRIT award nominee, Skepta, will be premiering his new project DYSTOPIA987 held in a secret Manchester location in a live set with plenty of guest appearances from hand-picked performers and DJs.

DYSTOPIA987 is a walking dream that presents Skepta’s singular vision of the future: deep, dark and radical, riven with uncertainty.

Skepta describes the project as “Real Life Magic” and will see him stepping outside of the usual gig format and reimagine the rave culture of the past.

Audiences can expect an immersive culture imagined by Skepta in collaboration with writer Dawn King and creative studio TEM who have worked alongside the likes of Beyonce, Jay Z, Lady Gaga and Coldplay.

The event will take place over 3 days and promises to be a series of intimate experiences.

Once initiated into this world, the audience will interact with a set of new technologies, and experience live performances which break down the barriers between artist and audience; all in an interactive world that asks questions about the future of rave, of music, and of the world.
