Summer at Escape to Freight Island with Eight Days of Live Music

The Untold Orchestra is bringing six of their most iconic shows to Manchester.

Plans to bring live music back into your life and ears are finally starting to begin, after a year of cancelled shows, The Untold Orchestra will be heading to Escape to Freight Island. 

Packing six of their most iconic shows of the likes of Bowie, The Beatles and Britpop into eight dates in June.

The Untold Orchestra is comprised of some of the UK’s finest classical, pop and jazz musicians, including vocalist Jenna G, Martin Connor, Nicole Battick, Dominic Lawson, Mica Millar, Ellen Lewis, Ben Lee Smith, Yemi Bolatiwa, Lisa Olivant and Will Jaquet.

The orchestra has worked on a variety of projects including recording projects with Grammy-winning pianist and composer​ Bill Laurance​ (Snarky Puppy), sell-out Manchester shows ​‘Nina: An Orchestral Rendition​’ and ​‘50 Years of Abbey Road: An Orchestral Rendition’​ and their one-off ​‘Manchester International Festival’ performance with renowned Manchester rapper Skittles and his group 8 Gold Rings.

The shows promise to be unique, magical events and most importantly safe as possible.

Disney: 6th June, 4th July, 1st August
Stevie Wonder: 2nd June
Bowie: 9th June
The Beatles: 16th June
Britpop: 23rd June
Motown: 30th June

There will of course be Escape to Freight Island’s massive array of food and drink vendors, from Voodoo Ray’s massive 22 inch pizza to Vietnamese treats from Mi and Pho.
