Brand-new fashion forward dog brand Wuff have recently launched their collection of dog leads and harnesses into Ancoats’ The Dog Shop, ahead of their official online launch on 21st April 2022.

The business was set up by self-confessed dog enthusiast, Alex Simpson who was inspired by her love of dogs and background in fashion and design.

Her main aim was to create a doggy clothing and accessories brand that’s premium yet practical for both dogs and their owners, and also showcased its own unique sense of style.

Before she began her Wuff venture, Alex was firstly inspired after falling head over heels in love with her first dog, Reggie. On the hunt for something unique and evocative for her new found furry best friend, she was surprised to find the limited amount of options available.

“Everything I did find was typically very similar and not in keeping at all with my love of fashion!” she said.

Not like your average dog brand, Wuff’s testing process takes two years to complete, reinforcing their emphasis on quality, comfort and practicality

After two years of sampling and extensive testing, the collection became what it is today, something special, unique and fashion forward, standing out in the crowd and bringing style and elegance to the dog world.

Wuff’s products are currently available to purchase from The Dog Shop in Ancoats, with their offices set to open around the popular Manchester neighbourhood soon, too.

The brand’s website is officially launching on 21st April 2022, and you can sign up via the link below for exclusive access on the launch day.

Alex’s future plans for Wuff are to expand and offer matching trench coats and sweaters to pair with the leads and harnesses, and even showcase unique dog fashion show events, bringing together the city’s most stylish pooches!
