Set up by former Black Leaf chef, Grace Stubbs and her fiance, Connor Dixon, Boneless Brigade had its first outing in early May, providing punters with laid-back, seasonal vegan food made using only the freshest ingredients.

After the roaring success of the pop-up, the duo have recently announced that they’ll be moving into Feel Good Club on a permanent basis serving their sociable vegan dining concept Thursday – Saturday 5pm – 9pm every week for the next three months.

The restaurant’s menu is super seasonal, focusing on dishes that use only plant-based ingredients and shy away from the ultra processed vegan alternatives such as Seitan and Quorn.

They serve six small plates on the menu that has started off with Mushroom Wings, a ‘Meatball’ Sub, Jalapeno Poppers, Charred Corn, Banana Blossom Fish Tacos and an American-style Ice Cream Sandwich, with specialist dairy-free ice cream from Ice Shack.

Grace has also recently introduced the ‘Chicken Sees a Salad’ dish, which is mixed with seasonal leaves dressed in a creamy caesar sauce, deep fried, breaded tofu ‘chicken’, smokey mushroom ‘bacon’ all topped with croutons, crispy onions and capers.

These dishes will then change as produce and ingredients come in and out of season, so every time you visit Boneless Brigade you can expect something new!

Its official launch party took place last Saturday, where Boneless Brigade was joined by Me Gusta DJs, brand-new merch and lots of special guests eager to try the restaurant’s unique, guilt-free take on vegan dining.

Speaking of her new venture, Grace said: “I’ve always loved food since I was young, especially being sat with family, sharing food around the table and enjoying meals together,” said Grace.

“I’ve been cheffing for a few years now, and I think I’ve cemented a cooking style that’s also reflective of me as a person – which has been the driving force behind the ideas for Boneless Brigade.”

Bookings aren’t necessary at Boneless Brigade’s Feel Good Club pop-up. Just rock up, order and enjoy laid-back vegan dishes from the heart.
