There’s a pop-up Christmas Market now open in Ancoats housing all sorts of creators and makers, making it the perfect place to support independent creators this Christmas.
The Christmas market has everything from jewellery to Christmas cards, homeware, gift box and plenty of prints and paintings.
You can expect crafters, live music and hot drinks on your visit to really get you in the festive feeling.
They’ve recently extended the pop up until Sunday 20th December so you’ve got all week to get your last-minute Christmas bits.

DIY Manchester Deansgate scene embroidery kit
If you fancy yourself a bit of a crafter now and have lockdown to blame you can treat yourself or a loved one to an embroidery box where you can create your own hoop of the iconic Deansgate view.
The bespoke design from Stephi at Hoop&Fred gives you all the tools and a manual to complete the design with five different stitches.
Manchester-based Prints
The perfect gift for the fellow Mancunians in your life. Each print has been created using a photo from the area to form a unique palette of colours using colour drop technology. Printed on 270gsm archival standard bamboo paper, you can be comforted by the knowledge that these are even kind to the environment!
Even the packaging is reusable of these prints – to avoid plastic the painting is covered with a cotton wrap that you can upcycle into an array of textile projects. The box can even be used for storage too.

There is a range of handcrafted oak serving boards including a couple of Christmas themed ones so you can be a proper hostess with the mostess in front of your three-household bubble this Christmas.
