Albert’s ‘Grand Tour’ will begin in Albert’s Schloss on the 3rd May as part of Tour de Manc charity ride out, and continue throughout the Summer months
The ‘Tour de Manc’ marks the launch of Albert Schloss’ ‘Grand Tour’, a season of alpine refreshment and cycling activities, which will be continuing throughout the Summer months.
For the launch on Sunday 3rd May, participants of all abilities are invited to cycle the various Tour de Manc routes, which vary in difficulty, to help raise money for charity. To take part simply opt for the ‘Schloss Start’ upgrade. This entitles all participants to a biker’s breakfast and coffee in Albert’s Schloss before the race departs from 7am.
For those departing Albert’s Schloss, there will be ample bike parking as well as a free bike servicing pop-up for those last minute bike checks alongside a hearty breakfast of freshly baked rolls (with either sausage, bacon or eggs) and the finest fresh coffee or espressos.
The bikers will ride with their Rapha Ride Leader who will escort the group to join the Tour de Manc.
After the ride all Schloss riders will be able to enjoy a refreshing, free ‘Radler’ – a shandy drink, said to originate from when German chemist Francis Xaver Kugler spontaneously whipped it up for a group of thirsty cyclists passing by his house – after the race as part of the Grand Tour launch.
The not-to-be-missed event marks the start of the Albert’s Schloss Spring and Summer season, with the venue set to unveil its eye-catching new interior and new summer food and drink menu.
Albert’s Schloss will be bringing the outside inside with a stunning Spring Meadow theme along with decadent Victorian Maypoles, and visitors can enjoy a menu inspired by ‘Summer in the Alps’ and refreshing new cocktails.
