Perhaps a slight cheat here, but Sunday through to Friday there is a killer happy hour at Dive. With drinks starting at just £3.50 this is the type of happy hour you can enjoy at any time of the month, not just the day after pay day. What’s more, it’s actually every drink you could dream of.

Wednesday
Smile Music Bingo
Gone are the days when bingo is for your grandma and her mates, no no no. Bingo has been transformed and backflipped into the 21st century, landing well on its legs 11 to give you a night of bingo fun.
Hosting the night where huge prizes are up for grabs, this Music Bingo swaps numbers for songs. There are tunes for everyone from 80’s classics to Taylor Swift. AND they’ve even extended the happy hour from above to last until 10pm. Perfect for a laugh after-work with some cheap booze.
Thursday
Weekly Quizzin’
Who doesn’t love a pub quiz? Honestly, you’re a different breed if you don’t. I have mastered the art of cheating as well; sending a text on your Sony Ericsson in year 10 without Mrs Wight finding out. But maybe don’t tell Dive that.
The quiz kicks off at 7pm and you can win big money baby and it’s only a QUID to play. And you can definitely find that down your sofa if you look hard enough. So if you reckon you know who played Diedre Barlow and how many feet make up a fathom, then this is the night for you. Oh one more thing, that happy hour is on until 10pm again so drinks are a steal at £3.50.
Friday
Bites & Booze
Between 5 – 7pm you can kick off your weekend at what is potentially the worst kept secret deal in the NQ. Bites and Booze involves bottomless beer (£15) or Prosecco (£20) for a full 2 hours and plenty of bites.
While the Zumu kitchen takeover is still at Dive, there are plenty of handmade sushi rolls, salt & pepper wings, chilli squid and Gyoza’s to line your stomach. Buy the bottomless booze and get one of the bites on the side.
Tun Up
Running until late November, Turn Up is an R&B night at Dive. Kicking off at 11pm the night is soundtracked by bashment and R&B tracks courtesy of DJ Cee Gordon and DJ Laflare. The night is filled with chill vibes, Jamaican sounds and cheap drinks OF COURSE.
Serving up Wray shots 3 for £10, Wray n ting and Rum Punch for just a FIVER all night. There’s also £80 bottles of Ciroc, Hennessy and plenty more available on the night. You can also book a booth, giving you queue jump and waitress service all night. Why not, eh?
Saturday
Prinks
As I’ve gotten older, got myself a full-time job it appears my friends don’t believe in pres anymore. The best part of any night out was getting absolutely wasted at the nominated mate’s house while you neck your drinks before the next train into town. And you can fight me on that.
Luckily for us, Dives Prinks exists. With bottles of Ciroc, Hennessey, Beefeater for just £80 and fir 3 for £8, 6 for £15 its the perfect way to kick off a big night out. There’s also plenty of deals on classic cocktails for just £6.50 or 4, yes FOUR for 20 quid. The resident DJ plays hip hop and Old School classics from 7pm-1am so you really can relive those pre-drinks days. Idyllic.
