The group’s debut album, ‘To Lose My Life’ hit number one back in 2009 and the group are back with their 5th studio album and a celebratory tour of the album.
The album kicked off their careers, laying the groundwork for a future filled with world tours and 4 more albums for the London band.
In 2008, White Lies previewed their debut album at Night and Day Cafe in a very intimate gig, playing 9 of the 10 album tracks. It was reviewed at the time as a high energy set and a tight performance by NME.
The album later went on to chart at number one in the UK and 6 top 40 positions across Europe.
The band recognise how much the music industry has changed in the decade since their debut album and see a shift in focus from record sales to gigs.
