It’s your last chance to see the truly awe-inspiring Book of Mormon this month, and you can even tickets for as little as £15.

Upon first look, I did wonder if this adaptation of the much-loved 2001 film, Amelie, would cut the mustard. Then again, musical adaptations are always good fun and this is already enjoying an extended UK run. Get down to Opera House to find out for yourself.

We’re Going On A Bear Hunt @ The Lowry
Saturday 3rd August – Sunday 1st September
Direct from the West End, We’re Going On A Bear Hunt hits the Lowry stage for an extensive run. An intrepid family of adventurers and their dog are on a quest to find a bear. Expect catchy songs that you won’t be able to get out your head for a few days.

The esteemed Mischief Theatre have teamed up with the even more renowned Penn and Teller in what is being rated as an excellent show. A group of magicians team up to fundraise for fellow magicians that have been injured during their shows, but their hapless illusions spin out of control.
Jerry Springer The Opera @ Hope Mill Theatre

Jerry Springer The Opera caused a storm when it came to the UK stage in 2005 and in this new revival at Hope Mill Theatre, it promises to be a raucous and fresh production for 2019! Not for the faint-hearted or easily offended.
National Children’s Orchestra of Great Britain @ The Bridgewater Hall
