Set up in 2017, Curated Makers typically find themselves collaborating with the likes of John Lewis, M&S and Paperchase to host small business pop-ups under major retailer roofs. However, with the COVID-19 pandemic – this has all changed.

So in response, they’ve set up their first ever Postable Pop-Up Market on Instagram – giving market traders and small businesses the chance to sell their goods online – all at the same time. Kinda like a virtual marketplace but with hundreds of stalls instead of around 10.

The first event took place last weekend, and there are plans for another one very soon. Feedback from the first event has been phenomenal, with small businesses and traders being given a platform in which to showcase and sell their products and services.

Using the hashtag #postablepopup on Instagram, hundreds of businesses from across the UK came together, from home, to sell their wares, knowing they had the confidence and support that hundreds of others were involved too. In the first event alone there were over 2200 uses of the hashtag, which prior had never been used before.

The Postable Pop-Up will return in the near future, follow them on Instagram to keep abreast of the dates. Additionally, you can also shop online from over 30+ artists and makers, directly from Curated Makers on their temporary Postable Pop-Up website…
