This Thursday 6th December will see photographer Simon Buckley, creator of the acclaimed Not Quite Light project, take part in Urban Lights, where you can become one with light, art and graffiti – all you have to do is stand still for a minute or so.
Urban Narnia, Manchester’s extraordinary new Christmas destination at Hatch on Oxford Road is now open, and is looking for volunteers to participate in one of the most anticipated events Urban Lights.
The event is free to attend and un-ticketed but the Urban Lights team are offering up the chance for guests to take part in the live graffiti art project and be photographed by Simon capturing an extraordinary ‘light graffiti’ moment to cherish forever.

There’ll also be late night shopping from nine independent retailers plus delicious food and drink from Cayuco, T’Arricrii, Mac Shac, Japanese Junk, Cottonopolis, Ol and Electrik Box.
All this will be set to the soundtrack of live DJ sets from Manchester legends James Holroyd (Begin) and Matthew Krysko (The Warehouse Project).
