Set to take over PLY in the Northern Quarter on Sunday 6th November, the Manchester Ceramics Fair will offer up the chance to check out the works of 30 of the best ceramicists in the north west, and even buy some yourself.
The fair is the work of the Manchester Ceramic Collective, a studio founded and set up in 2018 with the goal of proving an affordable space for the burgeoning and aspiring ceramicists in and around the Manchester area.
The collective has quickly gone from strength to strength and now creates ceramics for some of Manchester’s top chefs, restaurants, coffee shops and cafes as well as featuring work in independent stores and galleries across the country.
Their idea for an exclusive ceramics fair in the city has been a long time in the making, but needed to be put on the backburner due to the global COVID pandemic. However, now that’s all (hopefully) out of the way, the collective have come together to support local ceramaicists by providing a new outlet for their work – a professional fair in the heart of the Northern Quarter.
Taking place between 11am and 3pm on Sunday 6th November, the Ceramics Fair is FREE and can be attended by all. Expect top tunes, great pizzas and strong cocktails.
