Reduce, reuse and recycle at The Refuge this weekend in association with PunkBox Tribe. Punk Box Tribe is a fun interactive kids brand run by two dads Shaun and Martin.
These guys are aware that children are spending increasing amounts of time on digital devices and they fear that kids might be losing the imaginative powers they once had when they were kids.
Inspired by a multitude of delivery boxes cluttering up their hallways, they saw an opportunity to engage children in an imaginative world of hands-on play turning cast-off packaging into rockets, pirate ships, doll houses and pretty much anything your little ones can think of.
The idea is simple – PunkBox takes stickers, colouring and a bit of imagination to bring cardboard boxes to life. Not only are they inspiring kids to get creative, but they are also giving excess packaging a new lease of life.
They have kindly sent up a whole pile of their stickers to Our Kids Social, who are going to be putting on a HUGE junk modelling session on Sunday 28th April between 12 pm and 2 pm.
Bring your little ones and some imagination and prepare some trash into treasure…or a racing car…or a castle or anything you could possibly think of!
