As summer starts to feel like it’s in full swing again, all anyone wants to do is dine alfresco and soak up the sun, so where better to be than Red Bank’s street food haven, GRUB?!

The outdoor food market has announced that it will host a Latin American food fair from Friday 29th – Sunday 31st July outside on its summer terrace and across its three floors of indoor dining.

Completing the line-up this year is Bread and Butter Barbecue, Crunched Tacos, Cubanitos, El Contador and Marzipan – with all vendors taking inspiration from Cuban, Mexican and Latin American cuisine.

Bread & Butter BBQ serves a menu of exotic, Brazilian food including Brazilian-style burgers, breakfast items and barbecued steak and chips, which comes with a flavourful rump cap ‘Picanha’ cut of beef served on top of chunky chips and a vinaigrette and rocket salad.

Pollard Yard’s newest residents Crunched Tacos will also make an appearance at the three-day event, armed with their real corn, crispy tacos and inventive flavour combinations of pulled pork, ‘Dark Fruits’ sauce and Frazzles, and Cuban Surf food, Cubanitos will serve up a wonderful selection of loaded fries, hotdogs, burgers and sandwiches all weekend long.

Concluding the line-up are fine purveyors of modern Mexican street food, El Contador – who will serve as the perfect place to get your soft taco fix – and Marzipan, a specialist cakes and bakes business who will supply delicious sweet treats across the three days.

There’ll also be a pop-up Latin American-inspired cocktail bar from Manchester’s very own Witch Kings Rum. The bohemian spirit makers began their business back in 2019, when two old school pals reconnected over their love of booze.

During lockdown, the two founders began experimenting in their Salford-based kitchen and Witch Kings was born! They now create bottles of Rum liqueur with flavours including Dandelion, Ginger, Coffee, Hibiscus and Peach, Ginger and Lime.

The Latin American Food Festival is completely free to attend and tables can be pre-booked below for larger tables.
