Manchester’s newest hidden bar is still so hidden that even Colombo would have trouble finding information on it. Hopefully this will all change with their opening this weekend as us Mancunians get the chance to experience a ‘hidden den of debauchery and indulgence’ that promises to be something special.
Hidden down an ominous staircase on Northern Quarter’s Oldham Street, Behind Closed Doors promises to be a sleazy, sexy space jam-packed with cocktails, beers and craft ales as well as a vintage 70’s inspired interior complete with old school erotica plastered all over the walls and screens, red light district toilets and vintage (working) telephones where you can order drinks and even chat to other patrons – probably about how much you fancy them.
The opening weekend begins on Thursday 18th May at 6pm and continues right through to Sunday night. To celebrate, they will be offering 200 FREE DRINKS on each of the 4 days on a first come, first served basis – so get down early!
Opening times as follows…
Thursday 18th May – 6pm
Friday 19th May – 8pm
Saturday 20th May – 8pm
Sunday 21st May – 7pm
Leave your inhibitions behind and get stuck into some FREE Beers and Bellini’s while listening to an eclectic mix of funk, soul and boogie late into the night. They’ll also be serving their full range of 12 signature drinks and 20 classic cocktails plus enough Gin and Tonics to drown Audrey Roberts.
When you arrive you’re looking for an innocuous looking buzzer near Retro Rehab on Oldham Street – good luck and see you there!
