• 6pm: Paris is Burning Screening – This Sundance prize –winning documentary is an intimate portrait of 1980s Harlem drag balls: a world of fierce competition, sustenance, and survival.
Waterhouse Way
• 7pm: SHE Choir performance in The Waterhouse Way from 7pm with renditions of Chaka Khan and more. SHE Choir is a network of free, non-auditioned choirs for anyone who identifies as female.
The Refuge Basement
• 10pm: Electric Chair Presents…Derrick Carter (ticketed event)
• Kicking off the first of 3 basement soirees over the Come As You Are Weekender we are pleased to welcome a true legend and friend of the electric chair, Mr Derrick Carter. One of house music finest selectors & producers with support from one of Manchester’s finest and Refuge resident, Paulette.

For the final leg of the weekender Homoelectric presents alfresco style dancing in the courtyard to cocktails in the public bar before finishing things off with a move and a groove in the Refuge basement.
