Another month at Brasserie Abode, means only one thing, a fresh selection of the Manchester talent set to play at Brasserie Abode’s Friday night live.

If anything was made for Friday at 5pm, it’s Brasserie Abode. Whether it’s their excellent cocktails, delicious French food, or their impressive live music acts, it’s one of the best places to spend your night.

The live music events are all free with a £10 bar spend,  but if I was you, I would book a table so you can sit back, relax and enjoy the live show they offer some fantastic dining packages that start at just £25 per person.

Friday 1st March

Georgia van Etten is a soulful, blues-driven songstress with a unique, creative voice and an impressive mouth trumpet. She regularly enthrals audiences around the world with her refreshing creativity and rich vocal tones.

Lyza & Special Guests
Friday 8th March

LYZA is a Manchester based singer-songwriter performing a lovely blend of folk and pop with a stand-out voice that is both incredibly unique yet warmly familiar. With influences from Carole King, Joni Mitchell and Gabrielle Aplin she aims to take you on an emotional rollercoaster of love, life and loss.

Ashton Jones Quintet
Friday 15th March

Ashton Jones is a British funk and soul vocalist, songwriter and performer, specializing in vibrant, dynamic, live soul and funk performances. His influences include a melting pot of classic artists, including James Brown, Earth Wind & Fire, Rick James and Prince. With a throwback style rarely seen on this side of the Atlantic, his performances deliver soulful melodies, gritty funk and sparks of falsetto.

The Swing Commanders
Friday 22nd March

The Swing Commanders take well-crafted songs from the thirties to the fifties and overlay them with lush vocal harmonies and hot solos. A young and vibrant quintet, they perform 40’s swing and western swing at its very best!

Friday 29th March

Tom Seals is 24 years old and a fresh musical powerhouse of the piano. His virtuoso solo-ing, excellent improvisation skills as well as a distinctive voice have left top industry officials haling him as one of the UK’s finest Blues/Boogie-Woogie piano/vocalists.
