Having toured most of the major European festivals this Summer, Rayko touches down in Manchester to play his only UK gig before heading over to Portugal to continue his European stint.
Rapidly becoming one of the most loved names in modern day disco, Rayko has been a leading light in the disco scene since 2008, the year he launched his outstanding Rare Wiri imprint and since then the Spanish producer’s name has appeared on various labels such as Eskimo, Is It Balearic? and Nang.
Drawing inspiration from the disco era of the 70’s and 80’s Rayko re-interprets and transforms the tracks to become modern day dance floor hits within their own right, his edit of Candi Staton’s ‘Broadway’ came hit number 1 in Juno’s best of 2011 disco chart, solidifying his spot as the Disco mastermind of this generation and becoming one of the most celebrated names in the modern day genre.
