Manchester pop-up pioneers Heart Soul Rock & Roll have announced the launch of their latest bar concept, The Ski Club, which will open on Thursday 1st November for the next two months, with a vintage inspired video that shows the inspiration behind it.
The team behind The Yacht Club are producing a unique and exclusive pop up après-ski venue, at a soon to be revealed location in Spinningfields, bringing a touch of creativity to the Manchester winter party season.
The build is now fully underway and the unusual space will be converted into a high end and exclusive alpine retreat, taking its inspiration from the luxurious resorts of Verbier and Courchevel 1850.
The vintage inspired ski chalet will be dressed with Scandinavian G-Plan furniture, featuring alpine scenes, furs and retro lighting and evoking Hollywood glamour. The truly unique winter cocktail list is inspired by the French ski resorts of an iconic era bringing a new light to the world of winter cocktails.
Guests can share festive inspired punch bowls filled with Grand Marnier, red wine and fresh clementines or warm themselves with a show stopping Brandy Blazer, a flaming cocktail made with a variety of brandies and spice.
“The Ski Club concept captures the mood of the upcoming festive season but with a chic and exclusive feel.”
The daily food offering and party menus are provided by innovative food connoisseurs #22 Redbank. Christmas party menus include a warming blend of Gruyere and Emmental fondue served in a hot cauldron with toasted bread and Bratwurst, alongside continental cheese and cured meat boards with homemade condiments, exquisite canapés and whole suckling pigs roasted to crispy perfection.
Chris Legh, managing partner of Heart Soul Rock & Roll, comments: “We are dedicated to producing new and exciting pop-up bars and are constantly seeking unique locations that challenge perceptions of where and how a bar can be.
