The glitterati of Manchester were out in force at Tariff and Dale’s VIP Christmas party. Eager to get the festivities off to a flying start the bar and restaurant, which opened in May this year, celebrated in style.
Situated in an old cotton warehouse that has been tastefully and sympathetically transformed into a stylish restaurant and bar, Tariff and Dale have received plaudits aplenty since opening, including featuring in The Times Coolest Restaurants in Britain list, and being shortlisted in Manchester Food and Drink Festival Awards Newcomer of the Year Category.
The lavish Christmas party was a celebration of these achievements, as well as an opportunity for the restaurant to launch their new Black List membership club.
In attendance at the party were Coronation Street’s Mikey North, Katie McGlynn and Jimmi Harkishin as well as actors Hayley Tamaddon (about to star in Chicago at Manchester’s Opera House) and Ian Puleston Davies, who is one of the stars of Beowulf, ITV’s imminent new blockbuster. BBC Breakfast’s Mike Bushell also enjoyed the party, as did Hollyoaks’ Annie Wallace. Guests enjoyed signature cocktails and canapés entertained by sensational live music from local hip hop star Jenna G and the collective `8 Gold Rings` who put in a spell-binding performance.
The party carried on into the early hours with help from the bar’s resident DJ Nick Kozubik, Nick de Sousa, Owner of Tariff and Dale said:
“We’re delighted to kick off the festive season and celebrate the hard work that has been put in by the whole team. We’re delighted with the local and national recognition we’ve received so far, and this party is just my way of saying thanks. Bring on 2016!’
