Created all the way back in 1968, the Big Mac was an instant success and has been the flagship burger for Maccies ever since, combining two beef patties, lettuce, cheese, pickles and of course – that lovely ‘Special Sauce‘.
I’m certain that everyone in the entire world will have eaten a Big Mac at some point – even vegetarians must find the allure difficult to resist – especially after one-too-many vodka tonics.
Well, as part of their on-going quest to create the greatest pizzas known to man, Crazy Pedro’s have created The Mac Daddie – which is essentially a Big Mac pizza and it’s absolutely fucking brilliant.
Starting with the usual Margarita base, they add chunks of hamburger and some extra jack cheese. But that’s not all. Once cooked they shove a load of gherkins on there, as well as shredded lettuce, and the final touch – lashings of lovely, lovely Big Mac Sauce.
It’s messy, it’s juicy and it’s quite possibly the best pizza that Pedro’s do – so get yourself down there as soon as you can and give it a try.
Oh, and if you ever see me in Pedro’s – don’t come over and say ‘Hi’ if I’m tucking into a Mac Daddies – I’ll only growl at you until you leave me alone.
