Over the past five years, CBD has become an increasingly popular health supplement with over 1.3 million regular CBD users in the UK, and 6 million trying the health supplement each year to generally improving health and wellness.
Green Times Brewing have already made global headlines. “High Flyer,” the world’s first CBD Session IPA which was launched back in 2018, was cited as one of the top ten beers in the world. More recently, the brand launched “Green Heathen” a 7.2% full IPA created with well-known brewery Northern Monk. This twist on the brewery’s New England IPA was an instant sell out and praised for its uniqueness.
Green Times Brewing Managing Director Thierry Florrit said: “As research into CBD continues, there is more science to suggest the value of mixing CBD with alcohol- it’s possible that by boosting liver function CBD can help the liver process alcohol more effectively, thus reducing hangovers.”
Green Times Brewing Business Development Director Carl Boon said: “We have focused on using progressive brewing techniques to produce a low ABV beer that still has the authentic taste and profile of a real craft beer and we believe we have really hit this nail on the head. We are also proud that our new 4.3% IPA in cans now boasts a vegan and gluten-free making it accessible to a wider audience.”
