Known for its authentic Spanish small plates, La Bandera has announced that for Father’s Day this Sunday, Dad can get its traditional tapas for FREE.
The award-winning restaurant is based just behind Deansgate and serves a menu of well-known Spanish classics, alongside family recipes and huge plates of paella that were made to be dined alfresco.
This Sunday, if you order six or more tapas plates, Dad will get three of them at no charge, meaning that you can enjoy some of the city’s very best Spanish and Canarian cuisine without breaking the bank.
The menu includes favourites such as the Patatas Bravas, Chorizo, Spanish Omelette and Calamari alongside more distinctive offerings including Grandma’s recipe Meatballs and Pulguitas de Cordero – sliders of pulled lamb in chilli and rosemary with a honey and mustard mayo.
La Bandera also has a wonderful selection of beers, wines and cocktails to accompany your food – with huge jugs of refreshing Sangria dominating the menu. There’s a traditional red wine option, alongside white and Cava options, so there’s no excuse to be anywhere else this Sunday, especially if the sun stays!
The restaurant’s famous, secret recipe (and award-winning) Croquettes are available on the menu, too. The recipe and cooking processes are extremely strict to ensure that all of the deep fried balls of potatoey goodness make it from kitchen to plate in prime condition.
La Bandera get the best results for their Croquetas by firstly refrigerating the batter for a minimum of three hours, but ideally they will leave them for a full TWO days. You can choose from either the signature Squid Ink Croquette, or the daily changing special option.
To claim the free tapas dishes all you need to do is quote ‘Dad22’ in the comments box when booking a table. You can only use one discount per table and you must order a minimum of six tapas to claim the three for free.
