National Margarita Day lands tomorrow and we are celebrating Mexico’s favourite cocktail by drinking lots of them (obviously!)
This year, we will be heading straight to Albatross & Arnold who have teamed up with Ocho tequila to create a stunning three-part menu of margaritas with a little twist in true A&A style.
First, is the Vimto & Blood Orange Margarita made with Ocho tequila, blood orange liqueur, homemade Vimto reduction and topped up with lime and rosewater spritz.
Second is Tommy’s Margarita which is a classic concoction of Ocho, lime and agave syrup for a little sweetness. My advice would be to start here on your journey as it is always best to begin with the mother of these fantastic drinks.
Finally, is From Manchester to Mexico which combines lavender infused Ocho with Earl Grey Infused agave syrup for some serious English garden vibes. This is then combined with homemade green apple shrub, a twist of lime and topped up with Marble Arch Earl Gray IPA.
The latter drink is floral, sweet and savoury all at once – and you are going to love it.
Each cocktail costs £7 and are available all week to help you celebrate national margarita day in style!
