For me, it is the only way to spend your bank holiday Sunday, and if you can’t make it back to your mums, I strongly recommend you head to The Lowry Hotel’s River Restaurant on the big day for a Sunday Lunch of epic proportions.
You can tuck into a beautiful roast striploin of Cheshire Farm Beef with Yorkshire pudding (obviously) with beef gravy, Roast Leg of Lamb studded with garlic and rosemary with homemade mint sauce or Slow Cooked Belly of Old Spot Pork with caramelised apple and thyme sauce.
Vegetarians can get stuck into Grilled Wye Valley Asparagus with potato rosti, poached duck egg and caramelised onion puree.
All these stunning roasts come with a plethora of sides to really take things to the next level. Think simultaneously crispy and fluffy roast potatoes, cauliflower cheese and carrot and swede mash – so they really have every base covered.
What’s more, is they have extended their hours which means you can enjoy this special Sunday roast from midday up until 9 pm. This means that there are more table’s available to their delicious Easter Sunday lunch which is usually booked up two weeks in advance. How lucky are we?!
Book up your Easter Sunday Roast with The Lowry Hotel’s River Restaurant now before it is too late.
