Announcing its new, weekly ‘Ancoats Fringe Wild Cabaret’, Firehouse is reinventing weeknights to feature alternative cabaret performances and excellent food and drink.

Now open five days a week, Firehouse’s brand-new Wednesday evening party will run initially until Christmas, deriving its name from the freedom of performance seen at Edinburgh Fringe Festival and New York free theatre festivals.

Aiming to become a platform for alternative independent creatives to showcase their talent through what they do best, Firehouse Fringe will be the Manchester home for ‘Wild Cabaret’. Opening at 4pm, guests can indulge in dinner and drinks and stay for the after party

Firehouse will serve £5 Margaritas 4pm – 9pm, as well as its usual menu of open fire cooking, which features the likes of Firehouse Chicken, Chargrilled Oyster Mushroom Kabobs, Crushed Roast Fingerling Potatoes and plates of freshly baked fluffy pitta.

Guests can also expect freestyle Balkan musicians, sketches, brazen burlesque and gymnasts, alongside special guest selectors making midweek the new weekend.

The popular Swan Street eatery has gained a loyal following in Ancoats since opening just over a year ago. Its fresh approach to food and service resulted in a series of best restaurant nominations in only their first year, but it’s what happens after dinner on ‘The Runway’, which has gained the restaurant cult status.

The Ancoats Fringe Wild Cabaret kicks off every Wednesday from 4pm, you can book a table now via the link below.
