The very best of the city’s sprawling food scene has been revealed in the nominations for the 2024 Manchester Food and Drink Festival Awards.

The likes of Bundobust, Flawd, Fat Pat’s, Sureshot Brewing, Higher Ground, Pollen and Gooey are among the nominees this year for awards from Takeaway of the Year right through to Restaurant of the Year.

114 traders, chefs, pop-ups, restaurants and pubs have been sent up for gongs, across 18 categories, with voting for the public awards now open at the MFDF website.

MFDF judges, made up of a panel of writers, critics and other food and drink experts, will then score the nominees during a ‘mystery dining visit’, with the winners being named at a gala event on January 29, 2024, at New Century.
