Opening back in August to illustrious fanfare and a brilliant video from us, BrewDog’s Doghouse, the city’s first and only beer hotel impressed almost immediately, and continues to do so.
A carbon negative hotel, the Fountain Street venue offers up 18 rooms full of bespoke BrewDog touches, from shower beers to in-room beer taps.
In addition, there’s also set to be a rooftop bar with a taco hut and 10 further taps available to all public, as well as an additional bar with 30 taps of craft beer.
The rooms themselves are decked out to include a range of unique features, including a beer fridge in the shower, beer taps, guitars, a vinyl selection from Piccadilly Records, celebrating local Manchester artists, smart TVs and all the mod-cons you’d expect in a hotel nowadays.
This week they’ve also launched a brilliant new BRUNCH MENU, which can be enjoyed in the bar downstairs, on the rooftop terrace or in your room from 7.30am – 12pm every single day.
It’s a rather impressive mixture of both sweet and savoury dishes, with an emphasis on British and American classics.
You’ll find a banging Full English Breakfast (£10.95) sitting alongside an American Breakfast (£10.95) which is loaded with smoked sausage, streaky bacon, buttered onion hash, buttermilk pancakes, fried eggs and a smokey hollandaise.
There’s also the always welcome Fried Chicken & Waffles (£10.95), Waffle Fries (£9.95) loaded with smoked sausage, bacon and eggs, and the most famous brunch dish of them all – Smashed Avocado (£8.95).
The Buttermilk Pancakes make another appearance but this time as the main attraction, topped with bacon and maple syrup (£9.95) or candied bacon, roast pecans, Nutella and whipped cream (£9.95).
Eggs Benedict next and there’s a couple of sexy options available, including a Crispy Seitan vegan offering (£8.45), a baby spinach and field mushrooms one (£8.45) and for the meat-eaters; smoked sausage and bacon (£9.95).
Finally, there’s the massively popular Overnight Oats, and a Korean Bacon Sandwich (£10.95) a Bao Bun served with gochujang fried bacon, wafer thin ham, a shredded chilli omelette and spring onion chutney.
Phew! There’s plenty there for you to crack on with.
The new Brunch at DogHouse is available everyday from 7.30am – 12pm
