Anyone who knows me (poor sods) will know that I’ve not got a bad word to say about Cane & Grain. Located right in the heart of the Northern Quarter, you’re likely to see me in here either covered in beer or covered in sauce probably up to 4 times a week.
The reasons for my adoration are many. There’s the drinks. There’s the cocktails. There’s Science & Industry upstairs. And then there’s the food. Yes, the food.
Serving up a range of brilliant BBQ classics, you can’t go wrong with Cane & Grain’s selection of ribs and meats, as well as a great choice of dirty fries that are amongst the best in the city. Don’t get me started on their Hangover Tray on a Sunday – I can talk for hours about how good that is!
But probably my main reason for loving Cane & Grain is their frankly quite amazing Lunch Menu where you can get one of the following for only 6 BRITISH POUNDS…

1/2 Rack Baby Back Ribs

All served with fries or side salad
Available Monday to Friday between 12pm and 4pm, I’m going to say this is certainly the best Lunch Deal in the city. If you can find a better one, let me know and I’ll completely disregard and continue going to Cane & Grain each week. Thanks.
