Coming VERY soon to Spring Gardens is Lättsam, a new Scandinavian-inspired independent café and bar that’s offering up three very important things… “Workspace”, “Kitchen” and “Coffee”.

There’s a lot more than just those three things though, including some rather delicious looking pastries and bagels, all-day brunch dishes and a dedicated bar area with proper beer pumps dashing out some of the wonderful beers and ales you’d find on a visit to Stockholm or Oslo.

The concept is actually from Manchester brewery Beatnikz Republic, so you should a mixture of their own brews and guest beers, alongside a range of natural wines, gins and naturally – loads of cocktails.

On the food side of things, Lättsam, which means easy-going or light-hearted in Swedish, will be offering up a changing all-day menu, with breakfast classics, brunch dishes and lunch sandwiches, salads and soups.

There’ll also be a daily changing line-up of cheesecakes, pastries and baked goods, perfect to be enjoyed alongside the Grindsmith coffee and range of loose leaf teas on offer.

From early in the morning till late at night, Lättsam looks to be catering for everyone, whether it’s a swift coffee and a bacon butty before work, a butty whilst banging out some emails, or for a few bevvies with your mates in the evening – they’ve got it all.

Lättsam will be opening (again) on Thursday 1st July.
