Last week saw Stockport favourites I Knead Pizza launch in the city centre at urban village Hatch – surprisingly the first ever pizza joint to serve up pies at the Oxford Road venue.
A staple in Reddish for over 3 years now, and a recent addition to the major delivery operators with a dark kitchen in Piccadilly East, I Knead Pizza have been cultivating an impressive reputation for sublime, authentic Neapolitan pizzas and indulgent sides.
They truly are masters of their craft, with impressive Neapolitan style pizzas, and now the introduction of Italian street food – including small plates, panuozzo sandwiches and sweet bites.
All of their dough is slowly fermented for a minimum of 24 hours at room temperature. They use San Marzano tomatoes, which are picked from the bottom of Mount Vesuvius, creating pizzas that are a true product of Naples and it’s methods.
While their Italian charcuterie, fior di latte mozzarella and Parmesan cheeses, and the finest San Marzano tomatoes for our sauce are imported, the rest of the veg is locally grown and sourced from local business.
A little hint from me to you, you’re going to want to try their Taste of Honey (£9) tomato, fior di latte, Napoli salami, pepperoni picante & a drizzle of honey.
You should also definitely try their Nduja Bites (£5) and for afters – the brilliant Biscoff Bites (£5) which are essentially little Biscoff pizzas and are AMAZING!
They also offer Panuozzo Sandwiches (from £6) made using their signature dough and then filled with a variety of Italian ingredients – perfect for a lunchtime visit.
I Knead Pizza is open now at Hatch, and you can follow them here:
