Having just completed a month-long pop-up at Ducie Street Warehouse’s dining room, Higher Ground were about to launch a new dining offer to run throughout November and December.
While still taking bookings for December, while they’re closed in November (and you’re mostly all stuck at home), they’ve re-released their brilliant 29 Minute Meal Boxes – and we couldn’t be happier!
Joe’s 29 Minute Meals offer exactly what they say on the tin – a selection of 4 courses, prepared by the talented team at Higher Ground, which are then delivered to your house so you can finish them off at home. In 29 minutes you’re left with restaurant-quality dishes to devour in your front room.
Lockdown Delivery Review: Higher Ground
Using Blossom Coffee Roaster’s electric van, the team will provide carbon neutral deliveries to the area of Greater Manchester. Available for the weekends of November 13th/14th and 27th/28th, the meal kit is £40 and includes four courses for two people to share and a dessert from neighbours Gooey.
Here’s this weekend’s menu:
– Slow-cooked pork shoulder, roasted turnip and caramelised yoghurt
– Roasted cauliflower and it’s leaves with Curing Rebels charcuterie jam
– Charred cabbage and chestnut mushroom salad, sourdough crumbs
– Carroll’s potatoes and Newfields leeks
It comes with a meal guide and for those who want that little extra help, there will be a live stream cook along with Joseph on Friday 13th November at 7:30pm via Ducie Street’s Instagram feed.
