With everywhere closing at 10pm, the Spanish people in the UK, who usually would start eating their dinner around that time, are going to have to move things about in their lives and have their tea a little bit earlier. Tough luck there.
It’s not all doom and gloom though because the excellent Canarian restaurant La Bandera have introduced a new Early Dinner offer, one which offers their huge Paella alongside a bottle of house wine or sangria for just £30. Alternatively, you can choose from 5 tapas and a bottle of house wine or sangria for £36.
La Bandera’s range of paellas include their Sea and Land Paella (Mar y Montana) which is loaded with meat and shellfish, and their De La Granja – with beef steak and chicken.
One of the most eye-catching and delicious though is their Negra de Calamares y Gambas – a squid ink black paella with fresh squid and king prawns.
Available Monday to Thursday from 5pm until 7pm, the Early Dinner is perfect for some after work dining.
