Cancer research scientist, turned cook, Pippa Middlehurst aka Pippy Eats is well-known on Manchester’s foodie scene for hosting her hugely popular noodle and dumpling supper clubs and workshops. Over the years she’s lugged her equipment all over town to setup her events in venues like Idle Hands, Pollen, and Form… but now its time for her own dedicated space!

Noodlehaus will be Pippa’s very first permanent location. A miniature cookery school and event space, where she’ll be hosting her workshops and supper clubs.

The space will also be available for anyone who has something to share and it will be fully equipped to facilitate them. It will be a place to learn, create, and share via workshops, classes, supper clubs and events.

“When I started out, I had to invest a large sum of money on equipment to teach my workshops and I know that this isn’t feasible for every single small business that has a skill they’d like to share. I understand how hard it is to find suitable venues to host events like these and the challenges that make it difficult. I want to take those stresses away and make an accessible and well-equipped space for everyone to use.”

The space is in a beautiful old mill, just five minutes from Piccadilly train station. Pippa gets the keys at the beginning of August, and she’s planning to be up and running by mid-September, taking bookings for workshops and supper clubs.

Pippa’s almost there but she’s asking for your help through a Kickstarter campaign that’s going live this Thursday for the final push to kit the space out with the final bits, heating for the winter and a decent water supply.

Rewards include signed cookbook goodie bags, a years supply of chilli oil, a hand-pulled noodle workshop, a private dinner party for 10 people, and more!

Go show your support to this legend in our foodie scene, we’ve no doubt that Noodlehaus will smash it…
