Allow Pisco expert Tom Bartram of Speciality brands to walk you through the event, providing insight into the product, the brand and the fantastic food it is paired with. The event will feature a welcome drink followed by 4 courses of Peruvian food all paired with a tailored cocktail, highlighting 4 different expressions of Barsol Pisco.
Fresh seabass ceviche with lime juice, squid ink, onions, Andean corn and seaweed paired with the Traveling Sour (Barsol Pisco primera quebranta – peach liqueur – lime husk cordial – aquafaba – frozen raspberry powder.). The name of the drink comes from the nature of the ingredients – all built to last and travel well under the hot Peruvian sun. Twinned with the classic Ceviche dish this is going to be a very traditional combo.
Peruvian Panca chilli marinated Pork belly skewers paired with the fourth cocktail entitled ‘My Captain my Captain’ (Barsol Selecta Torontel – jasmine infused Cocchi rosa – orange blossom).- A twist on the Peruvian Manhattan-style cocktail El Capitan.
The rest? Well, you’ll have to buy a ticket and see for yourself.
