Scene Indian Street Kitchen are helping to paint Manchester red, blue, green; any colour you like as they celebrate the Indian festival of Holi.

Holi is the two-day ‘Festival of Colour’ which marks the arrival of the harvest and Spring whilst celebrating fertility, colour and love.

People all over the world take part in Holi as it is seen as a time for people to put aside any views, grievances or religions and join together for the fun festivities. Friends, families and communities join together and as the day draws to an end, the celebrations are continued with food and drinks either at home or on the streets or cafes around.

On Sunday 12th March between 3-9pm, join Scene as they celebrate Holi in their Spinningfields restaurant. Guests are invited to join in by gathering together friends and family to experience an authentic colorful thali the way it is eaten in the homes and streets of India.

For just £15.95 per person, diners can indulge in a colourful 3 course traditional meal. There’s plenty for the whole party with spicy poppadoms and dips, onion bhaji, coriander infused salad and a choice of either chicken, lamb or vegetarian or vegan curry served with tarka dal and rice. Finish off the meal with a classic Indian kheer dessert all washed down with an exclusive drink – Holi pink tea. This is one that you should not miss!!
