Not only is it the first day back to work after the weekend, it’s also the day in which you’re most likely to still be nursing a hangover from your night out on Saturday where you drunk too many Margarita’s and fell over into a ditch.
But fear not, the establishments of Manchester have your back, with many venues offering some excellent deals and promotions to get you through the day with a smile. One such place is the fantastic Randall & Aubin over on Bridge Street who have decided to celebrate opening on a Monday the best way possible – with booze.
Martini Monday’s mean that between 4pm & 7pm you can get two martinis for only £12. There’s loads of variations on the Martini to choose from including the brilliant Bees Knees (Three Rivers gin ~ honey ~ lemon) or the French Martini (Vodka – pineapple juice ~ Chambord) there’s something for everyone. James Bond would be happy to know that the Classic (gin or vodka ~ wet or dry ~ twist or olive) is on the menu as well.
I suppose there’s also the fact that if you are also feeling peckish, or want to soak up some of that booze, Randall & Aubin is a great place to sample some of the city’s best seafood. Perhaps go the whole hog and share some of their oysters – after all – it’s a Monday!
